Legally Binding Agreement: By signing a contract with River City Power Wash, LLC, you are signing a legally binding contract for work to be completed at an agreed upon price. This also includes agreements made by email and phone.

The client understands and acknowledges that any blemish or flaw or any existing oxidation will be more noticeable after cleaning. Vinyl sided homes that have not been maintained or have contact sun exposure will be susceptible to oxidation. Signs of oxidation are as follows: chalky white powder on siding and the clear luster removed. If the client's property suffers from oxidation, signs may become more noticeable after cleaning. Oxidation can be removed for an additional charge.

The client understands and acknowledges that all roofs react to cleaning solutions differently and results will vary. The cleaning solution used by River City Power Wash, LLC are guaranteed to completely kill any damaging growths such as algae, moss, or lichen. After cleaning, the roof will show results but in some instances, it may take more time to completely remove the dead growths. This happens due to many factors such as age of roof, type of shingle, location, and the amount of accumulated buildup. It is understood that there is potential to have some light brown areas that remain after treatment. These light brown areas are dead algae which appeared as black streaks prior to treatment. If this occurs, the client understands and agrees to wait 6 to 8 weeks for the brown areas to fade with the assistance of natural elements such as sun exposure and rain. If the brown areas remain after 6 to 8 weeks, the client should contact River City Power Wash, LLC immediately in order to request a physical examination necessary for the company to determine the next steps. Moss or lichen growth on the roof will turn white after treatment. In these cases, the client agrees to wait 6 to 8 weeks for the moss or lichen to fade with the assistance of natural elements such as sun exposure and rain. If the moss or lichen remain after 6 to 8 weeks, the client should contact River City Power Wash, LLC immediately in order to request a physical examination necessary for the company to determine the next steps.

The client agrees to allow the River City Power Wash, LLC to utilize any photos, videos, descriptions, or reviews of the property and/or the client in the context of marketing or advertising, provided that River City Power Wash, LLC will not include sensitive information such as addresses or full names. River City Power Wash, LLC will use these media items described in this section without any compensation to the client. The client agrees not to seek punitive action in a civil court of law regarding the development, display, reproduction, or printing of the above media. If the client agrees to allow River City Power Wash, LLC to display a sign for marketing on their property, it will remain in effect for no more than fourteen calendar days.

Chemical runoff and overspray on non-services areas may partially clean these areas by killing mildew, mold and algae. All precautions are made to avoid runoff and overspray. There is an additional fee to properly clean these areas.

You agree to provide River City Power Wash, LLC the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the water supply is on and in working order before we arrive.

The properties and species of wood age and weather can greatly affect the resulting color or tone of the stain. Variances may occur on individual boards well as total project as densities and other characteristics vary across and throughout the wood. River City Power Wash, LLC attempts to represent final finish color and tones as best as possible. While we can often give you an idea of the overall color or tone you must expect some variance in the overall finish.

While River City Power Wash, LLC is on location and performing work on your property, you are responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals away from the work area. Children and pets must be kept off work surface for at least 24 hours after our work is completed. This is for your safety as well as our own.

Payments to River City Power Wash, LLC are due as per the contract schedule and are to be paid by check, cash or debit/credit card. All balances are due upon completion of the job.

Scheduling in a business which productivity relies upon the weather can be difficult. Inclement weather may affect scheduling. We try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however, circumstances that are beyond our control may affect your project start and completion dates. You will be notified promptly of any changes.

Removal and replacement of grills, deck furniture, planters and any other items are the responsibility of the homeowner. Should we need to remove items from the deck, we will not be responsible for any damage, breakage or for storage issues. An additional charge may be applied for time and labor devoted to the removal of these items.

River City Power Wash, LLC is not responsible for damages due to improperly installed siding, loose shingles or siding, broken or opened windows, improperly sealed windows and doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters and leaders and improper caulking. In every aluminum siding case and in some cases with vinyl siding, the sun and weather will bleach the color or cause fading. Power washing, which entails removal of chalky, gritty or failing surface materials may cause the faded aspects of the vinyl or aluminum to stand out. River City Power Wash, LLC will not be responsible for such conditions. River City Power Wash, LLC will not be responsible for loose mortar that may dislodge during the cleaning process.

Some stains cannot be removed by power washing. Tree sap, artillery fungus, splatters from stains and paints are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. We make every attempt to point these areas out to the customer when quoting the project. Stains that require specialty chemical will incur an additional charge. Sometimes these stains cannot be removed at all.

River City Power Wash, LLC expects your property to be in good repair and weathertight. This includes, but is not limited to all electrical service including receptacles and light fixtures. Doors and windows shall also be weathertight. River City Power Wash, LLC is not responsible for damages as a result of water infiltration from poor or improper installation, maintenance or repair of electrical related items or doors or windows. The property owner must close all doors and windows prior to cleaning services. River City Power Wash, LLC cannot guarantee removal of artillery fungus from exterior house surfaces.

Windows may become water spotted as a result of our services. River City Power Wash, LLC will rinse windows multiple time but spotting is sometimes unavoidable. Window cleaning is an additional charge.

Rust, red clay, and oil stains are not removed during basic cleaning services. These stains require specialized chemicals. These stains can be removed upon request. Additional charges are incurred for removal of these stains.

By accepting an estimate, the client agrees that all the specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. The client authorizes River City Power Wash, LLC to complete the work as specified on the proposal/estimate form. The client releases River City Power Wash, LLC from property damage unless damage is caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. River City Power Wash, LLC is not responsible for damage to loose siding, windows, paint, or wood trim. Any damages due to the above are the responsibility of the owner.
